Today this website is a waitlist and information site, so the list of purposes that actually apply is short. Purposes marked app will apply once the Ovr app launches, and are listed here so you know what is coming rather than to imply they are already in use.

Data Processing Terms
We use each provider under its standard data processing terms, which restrict the provider to processing data on our behalf for the purpose we engaged it for. We have not negotiated custom agreements with these providers, and we do not audit them ourselves.
6. Mobile App Tracking
The Ovr app has not launched yet.Everything on this page describes the marketing website you are reading now. This section states what we intend for the app so you can hold us to it, and we will replace it with the app's actual behavior before launch.
6.1 No Advertising Identifiers
We do not plan to use your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, the Advertising ID on Android) or to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Because Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt is only required for that kind of cross-app tracking, you should not expect to see it from us.
If that ever changes, the prompt will appear, this section will say so first, and declining will remain a fully supported choice.
6.2 Purchase and Subscription Records
- • Subscription and add-on purchases are recorded against your account
- • They are never linked to a device advertising identifier
- • We do not share purchase data with advertisers

7. Managing Cookies
7.1 Cookie Consent Banner
On your first visit you'll see a cookie banner with two equally weighted choices. Analytics stays off until you pick "Accept analytics," so ignoring or dismissing the banner never counts as consent.

There is no "Customize" step because there is only one non-essential category to decide about. If we ever add another, it will get its own control here.

7.3 Consequences of Disabling Cookies
On this website:
- Declining analytics changes nothing you can see
- Every page, the waitlist form, and all links keep working
- We simply lose aggregate insight into which pages confuse people
- If you block storage entirely, we cannot remember your choice, so the banner reappears
In the Ovr app, once it launches:
- Blocking all storage would prevent staying signed in
- Bank linking through Plaid needs a session to complete
- Analytics remains optional there too

8.3 UK Residents (UK GDPR & PECR)
Same rights as EU residents. Consent required for non-essential cookies (PECR Regulation 6). Right to complain to ICO (Information Commissioner's Office).
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
9.1 Do Not Track (DNT)
We currently do NOT respond to DNT signals due to no universal standard for DNT implementation. Use our cookie preferences tool for more granular control.
9.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor GPC signals from every visitor, not just those in states that require it.
When your browser sends a GPC signal, before any analytics script loads we automatically:
- • Record analytics consent as denied, so Contentsquare never loads
- • Skip the cookie banner entirely, since your choice is already made
- • Treat the signal as a "Do Not Sell or Share" request, though we do not sell or share data in the first place

Personal data in cookies subject to GDPR. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, unambiguous. Pre-ticked boxes not valid consent. Consent can be withdrawn easily.
11.4 CCPA/CPRA (California)
Right to opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" for advertising. Right to know what's collected via cookies. Right to delete cookie data. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link provided.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in cookie usage, new legal requirements, new cookie technologies, or user feedback.
